Basement Jaxx are to turn in Daft Punk's neon

Basement Jaxx are to turn in Daft Punk's neon-traced footsteps, soundtracking upcoming sci-fi film.

According to the DJ group written about Attack the Block reportedly that this British action-comedy that pits yobs against aliens.

Basement Jxx have yet reveal Shaun of the Dead, director by this track Edgar Wright brust the news on Twitten.

He wrote (via the Playlist), "Heard some of Basement Jaxx's score for Joe Cornish's Attack the Block yesterday".

In comedy group any one Adam and Joe to appear "Still humming it today. #GoodStuff" characteristics for Cornish. He currently worked with Wright, revising Steven Moffat's Tintin screenplay for Steven Spielberg.

Basement Jaxx will be one of the first raid into film scores, despite they debut songs to soundtracks adding Bend It Like Beckham and, er, Just Married.

Daft Punk described definition of score for Tron that Legacy has proved there is a strong market for sci-fi/electronica crossovers, and Basement Jaxx seem an appropriate choice for a film whose tag-line is, "Inner City v Outer Space". Attack the Block, which stars Jodie Whittaker and Luke Treadaway, is due in April.
