Basement Jaxx new music "Dracula" blasts away

Jimmy Wales and Stephenie Meyer i this morning we’re pretty sure wasn’t okayed was “unfortunately still alive” and a “stupid bitch”. We may not wish a agony on the Twilight series creator, we’re not glad we can never watch Near Dark or The Lost Boys the same way again.

The Misfits with satisfaction there used to be a time when we could listen to “Vampira” but that was destroyed, by Meyer’s weak metrosexual reinvention of coffin dwellers that makes Count Chocula look like a cold blooded killer.

Basement Jaxx’s new single “Dracula” could very easily fall in that mode, and really kind of does. But there are moments that give it more of an industrial bent, the way the drums ratchet at various points gives the whole thing more of a swing, rather just constant pummeling.

Atlantic Jaxx label is this are freshly released “dark, twisted slice of bowel-shaking vampire house, crafted for peak time on the coolest dance floors.” “Dracula” is a dark, distorted house beat that blasts away the blasé. For included, check out the black and white Nosferatu
scenes in the background.
